Thanks for posting this story. I have read before that the Earth is at a near-historical low, and CO2 would only have to drop a little bit more for all plant life, then all animal life, to die.

And the historic NORMAL for the Earth is 8 X as much CO2 as there is now.

The only premise I disagree with, is that man is causing CO2 to return to its normal level where the Earth thrives the best.

By digging up fossil fuels, we are slowing the disappearance of CO2. But you are probably correct, it is not a sufficient quantity to return the Earth to previous CO2 levels.
