Why would a reporter who grew up never checking facts and background EVER suspect someone else would actually have a brain and think. Actually know about this asswipe’s personal history. To him, it is unprecedented.
He takes his cues and position point faxes from someone supposedly smarter than he. Investigative reporting? Entirely an alien concept. They couldn’t even investigate wiping their own butts if some liberal administration didn’t do it for them.
