Yes, they are quite in vogue. That fact that government lies to us, ably assisted by the media, helps bolster the idea that EVERYTHING must be a lie, and that is the first conclusion some draw. That, of course, is a dead end. It has gotten so bad at times that a government really wanting to mislead would simply have to tell the TRUTH and many would automatically reject it as false, and mission accomplished! Times are confusing, but people need to calmly think and not always yell “False Flag!” as a substitute for fact-checking. Just my pitiful opinion, of course.
