Mary Landrieu too...
Last week, prior to Donald Trump’s Louisiana visit, the anti-Trump media had fun mischaracterizing remarks made by LA. Governor John Bel Edwards. If you watched any of the mainstreamers, you were under the impression that the Governor told Trump not to come. Like so much of what those outlets report, that wasn’t exactly true.
She is looking for relevance
Trump is going to win huge in Louisiana. If her seeking personal advantage helps Trump, and happens to be the truth as well, I will not hold it against her. I can be more charitably minded to her as a former senator, kind of like the way I appreciated Joe Montana more when he went from the 49ers to the Chiefs.
Landrieu is just looking for a chance to get her name in the news again, I couldn’t care less what she has to say.
I have to give credit to the La Governor, he had the decency to make complimentary remarks about Trump’s visit after it was said and done.
Trump probably just nailed the La vote down. He made a lot of points with them when he showed up, made a very good impression when that included a 18 wheeler full of supplies, and incidentally (or maybe intentionally) shamed Obama into making an appearance. Obama will say it was planned of course, Trump doesn’t have to. Maybe he can arrange for a truck load of supplies overnight, but I doubt even he can make that happen. It took planning. Probably a couple of days, so his visit was planned before he announced it I would bet on that. Obama had no such plans...disgusting turd...
Get used to saying President Trump...

Trump may have won over the south in one move. Hillary and Obama blew it to be a no show with the flood victims.
Like the wife says “When people have to crawl up on their roofs to survive you don’t care about anything else. You just do what needs doing.”
