Yes, you too can make one to build a fire at your next camp outing or just to bring it up at a cocktail party. However, be warned this may not be most practical gadget to create for fire starting your campsite. But I guess you can chalk one up for ingenuity. Have a look here with instructions on how to build this mini-flamethrower.

Is “Inventor719” a pseudonym for Clockmed?

I see a bic lighter, duct tape and a disposable syringe. This is something I would’ve come up with in high school when I got bored.

I built a number of “home made flamethrowers” in my mis spent youth. One needs to exercise extreme caution! Especially dangerous toward the end of the fuel.

Looks like the sort things my baby brother built when he was 10 years old.

My favorite flamethrower is a can of WD40 and a Bic lighter. Great for getting rid of wasp nests...Hair spray works too.

Heck, when I was a kid, I used to take a can of lighter fluid, set the plastic tip on fire, then squeeze!

I always enjoyed making a bazooka from a empty can of pringles, tennis ball and lighter fluid....

Oh man those things were great, but you can find those steel cans anymore ...

25 foot wasp spray and a bic lighter and you can keep your distance. Carb cleaner with the red straw works too.
