Blah blah blah. It’s garbage. Nobody’s trying to kill the IRS

House conservatives formally introduced a resolution yesterday aimed at removing the defiantly corrupt IRS Commissioner John Koskinen from office. The impeachment resolution could see a vote this week.

Rep. John Fleming, R-La., a sponsor of the resolution, offered the measure under special procedures that put the House of Representatives on track to vote Thursday. on the effort.

Can the president stop an impeachment like this if both and House and Senate are on board?

Why this guy but not Lois Lerner? Why not both of them?

Clinton could pull it off, he had enough charisma, feigned empathy and composure to fool a lot of people.

This guy looks like a snake, acts like a snake, and won't get much sympathy.

That's a huge difference.

No. But if you cannot get 2/3 in the Senate the impeachment fails. The Dems will vote against conviction in a Senate trial and it will fail. But it will reveal them all to be on the side of corruption and political persecution of enemies.

Impeachment. Yeah whatever. Call me when these corrupt bastards start doing prison time. I seriously doubt Congress (politicians) will eat one of their own.

Washington Playbook....

Step 1. The Person In charge of the corruption and wrong doing “retires” and sheds their responsibility like a discarded lizard tail.

Step 2. The Democrats put some “stooge” or “Scapegoat” in charge and make them hold the “lizard” tail.

Step 3. The republican eunuchs in congress start impeachment against the “stooge” or “Scapegoat”.

Step 4. The Democrats accuse the Republicans of going on a “Witch hunt” because the guy now in charge had “nothing to do with the corruption”

Step 5. The Republican eunuchs have their “pound of flesh” to use for fundraising, and the democraps have their talking points of the evil “Mccarthyite Republicans” to both fund-raise next cycle.

Step 6. Rience and Repeat.

[ Lois Lerner retired from the IRS. ]

Drag her ass out of retirement and put her in-front of congress and if found guilty perform a “Pension-ectomy” on her sorry ass before sending her to Jail.

Yes - but why did congress allow her to refuse to answer questions?

Many would settle just to see Lerner’s pension revoked ... permanently.

If Civil Servants knew their actions could put their pensions at risk, we would see a massive cleanup begin in government ethics.

Republicans didn’t have the majority in the senate. They do now. Of course once the Democrat wing of the Republican party vote it will kill this.

No. And I doubt he’d spend the political capital. The IRS chief, if impeached, will be given a cushy job at a left wing NGO and a thank you for taking one for the team.

Good point and the public already looks at him as the slimy trail left by a snail.

Impeachment cannot fail just because the senate failed to remove. Bill Clinton will be forever known as an impeached public official.

[ Democrat wing of the Republican party ]

Exactly and they are so spineless they would be frightened of repercussions in the form of audits on their tax returns, if efforts to impeach failed.
