Not only is Trump polling much better than he was in Colorado up until September, but he is actually leading in the state in the two polls taken there in September. In the Emerson poll Trump is up four points, receiving 42 to Clinton's 38. In the Reuters/Ipsos poll, Trump leads by three, 43 to 40.
Considering that Clinton was so confidant in Colorado that she pulled her money out of the state in July, these September polls represent an earthquake in Colorado and nationally.
I added Colorado to the Battleground Index tonight, which only includes states that are actually close in the recent polling. He is ahead in Colorado by 3.5 points. Colorado adds another minimal scenario for Trump to win, which expands his options exponentially. Colorado makes a very significant electoral difference.
Hmm, I though Colorado would be impossible for Trump to win because of Hispanic voters...
... or is it possible for him to win because of Hispanic voters?
The meme magic is strong with that one.
Media still trying to downplay any good polling news for Trump by stating he has “very narrow” path to victory.
We heard that back in April with regard to the nomination as well.
Taking Colorado opens up numerous avenues for Trump to win the election. No reliance on PA, VA, MI, or WI, but one of NV, NH, or NM would still be needed (assumes PL, OH, NC, and IA go Trump).
PL => FL
Probably Republicans coalescing around the GOP Trump/Pence ticket; consider the difference choosing Pence made vs other possibilities. He offends no reasonable voter.
If Crooked can’t poll above 40% in Colorado by now, Trump will take CO.
You can’t even sell Hillary to stoned voters.
Go Trump!
I can’t speak for Denver or anywhere else but here in Northern Colorado I have seen more Trump stickers and signs out than I have seen “I’m with her” or anything for Hillary.
YMMV
‘hammer
Hillary’s Hispanic strategy seems to have hit a major sinkhole in CO and NM.
LoL! Hillary is a bummer dude!
Hillary? Dude, what a buzz-kill.
I have to give it to some of the older Freepers. They called it correctly. The polling companies and media will do their best to drive a narrative for the election. If their internal numbers show Trump will win, they will slowly start changing directions and approx. two weeks from election day you’ll see the polls reflect accurate public opinion.
The week before Nov. 8, Trump could have a double digit lead nationally.
I suspect after this election there will have been a lot of people who actually voted for Trump but STILL won’t admit it.
“because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you WANT that wall — you NEED that wall.”.....HEH....
