Not really. Peanut butter is hard to clean, the smell will linger, and insurance won't give you anything. With firebombing, at least that's a definite loss for insurance.
Peanut butter cleans up with mineral spirits. Painters use it to clean up adhesive residue on walls and duct tape residue on window frames etc... And I have used mineral spirits to clean out peanut butter jars that I needed to hold nuts and bolts in. mineral spirits works great.
