Wednesday, October 19, 2016 GOP opponent calls for Schakowsky's resignation in light of undercover videos
CHICAGO - Standing in front of Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky's Chicago office Wednesday, GOP challenger Joan McCarthy Lasonde called for the six-term Democrat to resign after undercover videos appeared to reveal Schakowsky's husband Robert Creamer's shady political activism.
"Schakowsky almost certainly participated in those activities, and at a minimum, she must have known about them. And she could have stopped them. This is a sickening and terrifying abuse of power," Lasonde told reporters.
Lasonde said Creamer's activities included hiring mentally ill and homeless people to provoke violence - specifically at the Trump rally which had to be cancelled after violence broke out at the University of Chicago venue just before it was scheduled to start.

Does anyone remember the sordid blackmail allegations involving Jan Schakowsky and a Turkish spy a few years ago? There were multiple stories on this at the time but don’t know much about the veracity of the sources involved.

I have a vision of neither candidate conceding the election and on January 20 Paul Ryan is sworn-in as acting president.
The Chicago Media is so far to the Left, I didn’t even know that Schakowsky had an opponent in the election! The Chicago Tribune is the DNC publicity rag. The TV stations are no better. WGN has gone completely far left. None of this will be covered.
Schakowsky resign??? In Illinois, her and Creamer’s deeds are reason for promotion!
Schakowsky has three opponents, including two write-in candidates. I hope a write-in candidate, David Williams, will win. He’s the only candidate, in that race, who wants to cut tax rates and spending. He’s the only candidate, in that race, who says that life begins at conception and that our military should send troops to guard the Mexican border. He’s the only candidate, in that race, who got an A from Gun Owners of America.
