Well at least she didn’t wear try to wear a Versace chain mail body-hugging gown. I’m still running the eye wash station full time after those White House state dinner photos.

I wondered the same thing. Is she denying her “feminine” side? Has to appear authoritative, thus the pantsuit? Doesn’t believe she projects authority in a dress or gown?

It was not a pantsuit. It was actually a long dress/gown, from the pre-event or post-event photos I saw.
