Media Elite still doesn’t get why Trump won the election
Canada Free Press ^ | 11/15/16 | Col. Bill Connor

Condescension against "red" America, evangelicals, and working-class Americans did nothing but ensure the defeat of Hillary Clinton

Like many of my fellow Republicans and evangelicals, I was not initially enthusiastic about Donald Trump as the GOP nominee. Many of us had issues with Trump’s seeming inconsistency over key conservative values; like his support of continued taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. The division among Republicans and evangelicals over Donald Trump was stark.

They don’t. With Obama leading the way down that road. Good for us, very bad for them.

Neither does Clinton. She thinks it is Obama and Comey’s fault.

And most likely, they won’t get it, either, going forward. In 2020 they will conclude that they need to lurch even farther left to win, much the same the GOP establishment did in 2008 and 2012, not surprising since they’re both essentially of the same party.

Most of the media appeared to protect seeming criminal behavior on the part of Sec. Clinton

The 'money quote'...

It reminds me of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

They have sell outs as far as the eye can see. No need to have a winner. Most teams' fans have an ebb and flow depending on winning percentage. Not the leafs.

Similarly, the MSM has a formula that has an attraction to half of Americans. Then can make money with that, plus not have to alter their ideology.

Hillary lost by one vote per precinct. I personally believe that she lost the day she characterized Trump supporters as a "basket of deplorables ... irredeemable" .... and then all the democrats and the media agreed.

Yeah, it’s like they think Trump took the presidency without an election through the American people. I know they don’t respect Trump, they can at least respect 60M+ legal American voters.

Instead of trying to be "reflective" on how Trump got elected, the Leftist media just need scrutinize their own reflections in their collective bathroom mirrors in the morning and realize that a large majority of the voting public see right through them and their biased political shenanigans.

A poll of actual voters conducted right after the election by Media Research Center/You Gov, showed 69% did not believe the news media was honest or truthful. Sounds just like the top descriptions people gave of their impression of Hillary Clinton during the campaign, dishonest and untrustworthy. 78% believed the news coverage of the campaign was biased, with 59% of those thinking it was biased for Hillary.

Here's the link to my source and for more data: MRCNewsBusters

The media still does not get that they are the problem, or at least one of the large teeth in the gear of politics that caused the democRATS to lose. And people just don't like what they see in the biased media, any more than they like those same-old, same-old gravy-train establishment politician types. Enough they said and voted for Trump.

God speed and good luck to you, President Trump.

I’m hoping the GOPe gets it, too. Fact is, Trump won because the middle class is done waiting for the eoncomic gains of the last 40 years to trickle down.

"Most of the media appeared to protect seeming deliberate, repeated blatant criminal behavior on the part of Sec. Clinton."

Fixed it...

They get it. The media are paid liars to advance bigger agendas.

What I understand is that turn out was abysmal. Which I don’t understand. If you are not going to vote Hillary or Trump why can’t people get off their fat ass and at least for third party. Just couldn’t be bothered? Don’t they have PVR/TIVO?

I suppose but sometimes you have to see a vote as an act of conscience. Show up and in the least spoil your ballot. I don’t know. That is just me I guess.

As I said on election night, I think the last of the undecided ultimately couldn’t stomach rewarding a clearly corrupt career criminal with the presidency.
