It really is. Scott Adams comment on it was,
“Apparently there’s no limit to how many times Trump can pull this same trick and get away with it. Funniest president ever.”
One needs a sharp sarcasm/irony filter on some of the Donald’s proclamations. He can’t overuse this, or nobody would take him seriously, ever. But if it’s outrageous, and there’s a point to being outrageous, then it can be to the good.
And anyhow he isn’t even the sworn president yet. He’s still talking as president-elect. As a sworn president, he’d be more serious, I expect. He might then preface these outrageous proposals with “suppose.”
The lefties’ hair is already on fire! All he has to do is fan the flames every now and then. Maybe they will eventually get a clue and reach for the fire extinguisher.
