The word in question does, very much apply to those who might intellectually know they’re constantly being lied to by the media but emotionally and/or psychologically constantly fall for the lies anyway.

Horse crap! The word is a liberal-speak insult designed to shame you into agreement. Literate people can present their side in a discussion without resorting to insult and accusations of cuckoldry. I personally don't believe that a person's racial make up determines their worth and I'll damn sure not stand quietly and be insulted for that position. How do you justify the liberal habit of turning every disagreement into a sexual insult?
