That is certainly another point of view. Let FR be what it always was, and don’t really care what impact it has upon the country.

I would predict, however, that if FR does not move to embrace the conciliatory space... then someone else will, and FR itself will be marginalized.

I don’t think there’s a high likelihood of finding a conciliatory space anywhere in this political climate.

However, if you think you can do it, and are willing to take the lead, maybe it could work.

In my 11 plus years here; I've seen this warning/prediction over and over again. "If free Republic doesn't ___________ then it will ____________"

Well as you know, FR never did ______________ and it's still standing strong.

What good does conciliation due with those who refuse to cooperate?
