This might make sense from Trump's standpoint. He wasn't the president when the U.S. abstained from a vote on Resolution 2334.
But why would the Canada Free Press think Theresa May would circumvent a U.N. resolution that her own government voted for?

If Trump goes full throttle here the outcome will be good.
If the UN does nothing it’s a victory. The Palestinians and radical Islam will have lost a valuable ally. The UN will be seen as feckless.
If the UN decides to push forward with more anti-Israel resolutions and actions, it will create more momentum in the US to get out of the UN.
Either way, UN loses and freedom wins.
