His last speech at the annual gathering in the nations capital was called the most important speech given in modern American history.
But the tone could not have been more different when Jonathan Cahn returned to the Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, held just before Donald J. Trump succeeded Barack Obama as commander in chief. The messianic rabbi, whom some have called Americas Prophet and the author of sensational bestsellers, including the new devotional The Book Of Mysteries, hailed the rise of Trump as an example of Gods will.
Warning the audience his message would be true rather than politically correct, Cahn reminded them it is God who decides who rules nations and empires.

Given all this, Cahn suggested it is not surprising God intervened to essentially nullify Obamas entire legacy. Yet this does not mean America is saved. The election is not the answer, Cahn said, but a window in which the answer can come. America is being given a chance.
In the days of Israels apostasy, when the people were warring against His ways, God extended His mercy, the rabbi explained. He gave the people time to repent. So too, in the days of our apostasy, God is giving us a time to repent.
Thus, the Trump administration should not be regarded as an unmitigated triumph. Instead, Cahn showed, it is a charge and a challenge laid before both the nation and the new chief executive. It is for American believers to fulfill what is commanded in 2 Chronicles 7:14 to seek Gods face and turn from their wicked ways. And it is for Donald Trump, a man who has not lived the life of a believer, to now become a vessel for God.

The guy that predicted the end of the world a couple of years ago. Ha!
I know Jonathan Cahn is quite controversial, but I agree with him on this.
And your problem with what he says here is what?
Jonathan Cahn deserves much credit for quite a number in this country turning back to God, by which many believe the Almighty has granted us a temporary reprieve; a sign of this is the miraculous election of a man like DJT, a leader at a time when America desperately needed one.
In this great speech linked above - with apologies for the audio quality - Cahn talks about this and reminds us of the Almighty's promise and gave a charge to Trump:
As you are lifted up to become the most powerful man on earth, remember always that it is the Almighty who lifts up kings to the throne, and the Almighty who removes them, Cahn said to Trump. Your authority comes not from man but from God, the King above all kings. Therefore, submit your life to His authority, and by His authority you shall lead. Do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.
Your life has been a vessel of your will. Now it must become the vessel of His will and His purposes. Walk in His footsteps, seek His righteousness, and follow the leading of His voice.
Uphold His ways, and you shall be upheld. Keep His Word and you shall be kept. Give honor to His name, above all names, and your name shall be honored. Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. If you do this, and you will arise, and you will shine, and the glory of the Lord will rise upon you.
Such words may seem strange to those who seek secular explanations for political events. Yet after a year when nearly every political expert, every experienced strategist and every established institution was confounded and discredited, Americans are more open than ever to the simple truth at the heart of Americas destiny. If Americans repent and seek revival, God will answer their prayers, he said.
What was it that all the experts and pollsters missed? Cahn asked. The answer was 3,000 years old: If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.
For the power of prayer is stronger than kingdoms. And God is faithful. And His promises are true.
I can’t find anything in there that I have a problem with.
But then again, God’s prophets have never been really popular with their messages.
It’s a great speech, and one I expected most who frequent FR would enjoy, except for the poor audio quality. It’s the only video of the speech I could find, as the article did not link to one.
I make a point to read what he says and take it under consideration. My main focus these days is studying and teaching the Bible, and I’ve yet to find anything he says to be out of line with what I read in the Bible. I think Jonathan Cahn and Frankin Grahm both speak the truth, and they both have guts.
Isn’t it refreshing to see men with real manhood stand up and take their rightful positions of leadership?
And on that happy note, I’m off to bed.
We Freepers need to be reminded of this DAILY it seems!
My remark was flippant hyperbole to make the point. Bottom line is he exposed himself as a false prophet. I read his stuff. I saw his videos. I know what he said and implied, and what I inferred. I will not be gaslighted on this.
I followed the guy quite a bit starting with The Harbinger. I noticed him starting to walk back his predictions a couple of months before the date was coming and I thought, then, “Yep, here we go...” He also looked like he was on drugs in that first walkback video. It was really odd.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, then will I hear from heaven, -- GOD |
IF......
And your problem with what he says here is what?
What did he prophecy that failed to come true?
Well; I do NOT know; so please help me understand here.
What Jonathan Cahn did was to warn the nation of what we could expect unless we turn back to God. One of his means of doing so was to write a fictitious novel, The Harbinger, his first national bestseller, IIRC.
At the end of his speeches, Cahn often quotes 2 Chronicles 7:14, which IS the solution.
I believe, as others, that what we're seeing now, primarily the miraculous election of DJT, is an indication that we've been given a second chance.
Through the work of Cahn, and many others, many in this nation have turned back to God.
But if we, as a nation, do not stop murdering the unborn, stop spreading abominations and perversions around the world, start helping to restore the land of Israel instead of dividing it, and start treating one another in this nation, and around the world, the way we've been commanded to do, with love and respect, then the Almighty WILL remove his blessing.
Be mindful that the world as we know it, at any time with today's technology, is only about 30 minutes from complete destruction. This IS the season...
Absolutely.
Was Jonah a false prophet as well?
He prophesied that in three days Ninevah would be destroyed.
It wasn’t.
Why?
Cause the people repented.
And because of that judgment was put off.
The prophecy DID come true, but not on the original time table.
Do you think, then, that Jonah was a false prophet and should have been stoned?
Great example!
