Reuters poll: Americans agree with Trump’s immigration EO 49-41

Media histronics still influencing no one

Was I too harsh on my fellow Americans on Monday? Well, I did qualify my judgment that this is not a serious country when it comes to questions of national security, speculating that the protesters might be more vocal than numerous. And I changed my mind about writing a followup piece titled “Nation of babies demands protection from evil without anyone getting inconvenience or upset.” I thought that was awfully magnanimous of me.

True number is much higher of that.

I think there is a Shy Tory effect of 5-8% that don’t want to be perceived as “racist” by the pollster.

Plus Rooters is cooking the hell out of it.

I saw something Reuters posted on their blog about how they are trying to deal with this new administration. They seem to be struggling.

They attempted to sound fair, but one thing they didn’t include to their staff.

“Keep your personal opinions to yourself, nobody gives a whit about your private life”.

49% - 41%...

I watched Tucker Carlson take apart 2 guys who profit immensely on this whole refugee scam. The first one, the little bald guy, was rendered a stuttering fool. I, for one, am getting very very tired of people telling me that it’s the right thing to do, it’ll benefit us, and that American’s across the board are 100% behind these programs.

Well, how about the 41% that were interviewed for the poll, voluntarily relieve me of the financial burden of taking care of these 3rd world savages, illegals from south of the border. Why doesn’t that 41% take these families into their homes?

What I would like to see is that no immigrant is allowed into the country unless an American citizen .. not a green card holder, not another immigrant .. signs a legally binding and enforceable contract taking complete responsibility for that new immigrant. Anyone without a sponsor is not allowed in and any sponsor who fails to fulfill the duties required will be prosecuted and the immigrant sent back to his/her former country.

Let those 41% put their money and livelihoods where their mouths are. They can be responsible for the support of these "immigrants" and also be held responsible for their conduct as well.

I wonder just how much different Trump’s policy is from actual ‘enforcement’ of decades-old existing laws.

In any case, we ARE in a war and to casually permit alien (avowed) enemies into the country BEFORE the conclusion of hostilities is just plumb dumb!!

Sounds good to me. It’ll be a great way to illustrate the hypocrisy of the Left and their NIMBY ideals. They’re all about this stuff as long as it’s at arms distance from their ULTRA WHITE LIBERAL ENCLAVES spread throughout the major cities in America.
