It does; in the sense that employing guerrilla tactics is employing an unconventional, unanticipated, asymmetric strategy against a stronger opponent.

Except of course her tactics weren’t unconventional (charging the net is pretty normal), or unanticipated (it’s how Venus plays), and she was the stronger player. Just as I said, the sentence makes no sense with guerilla.
