Putting aside your implication that the TSA's methods are "smart," we could START by eliminating those abusive pat-downs, especially when the x-ray machine does not "see" ANYTHING on a person's body.

That is the point. We know terrorism is conducted over 99% by young Muslim males. There IS NO REASON and no benefit to be patting down the entire rest of the nation’s demographic. If you can’t call it profiling, call it something else, but in a sane world, there would be one line for Muslim males under 30 and a separate line for everybody else in the world
Oh, and that statistic that shows TSA has not stopped one single solitary terrorist attempt in their existence.

Yes. The Israeli's have a very good system they use at their airports, and they don't have a problem.
The FEDS and TSA try to hide this info, but when tests are conducted, the TSA has failed to find the 'test objects'.

This whole TSA was a political money scamming game right after it was started. They could have had security staff, with weapons and dogs, trained in profiling people.
For all the P.C. reasons, they decided to use untrained affirmative action/no questions on whether you have been convicted of a felony/thieving people and no dogs. (wouldn't want to 'scare' the passengers).

Kill the TSA now, airports can do their own security. No moslems allowed to fly, to enter the airport, and certainly no muzz-holes allowed as employees.
The first screening test is the American-accent test, it would be compared to your ID. Normal looking and sounding Americans are breezed right through.
Non citizens, foreign accents and suspicious looking/acting passengers get the third degree. Followed by a pass through the "mohammed joke and cartoon room".
Any problems from the above....arrest, detention and further investigation. Two armed Sky Marshalls on each flight, and the pilots are armed as well. Hidden cameras in the passenger sections with video monitors in the cockpit.
