I wrote a couple articles about Salon and their attempted justification of pedophilia. They ran posts from a guy named Todd Nickerson that tried to put a happy face on the depravity. Well, guess what? Now those articles have been removed. This is why you should always archive controversial articles from the mainstream media.

When I was stationed in the UK, the age of consent was 16 for marriage.
In my home state of Maryland, not too long ago, you could get married at 13 with parental consent.

Kids have enough BS to learn and experience and grow into without some creep trying to screw up their lives before they even have a chance to start.
When I was 32 I, rather mistakenly, dated an 18 year old girl. I got all sorts of pats on the back and “Right ons”, but ultimately my mere presence (However non-creepy it could have been) was nothing but harmful.
The modern American has more to develop than anyone of us have. Leave them alone to grow - even beyond 18 years. 30 year olds have no good business being with 18 year olds.

There is a huge difference between a normal man who would admit that a teen girl is attractive, even to say, if she were 18 I could see myself with her, and a man who knows a girl is 15 and WANTS HER RIGHT NOW and tries to get her into bed.
There is something wrong, sick, about a man who CHOOSES to seek out an innocent young girl. Even past puberty. That is not the same as a 23 year old at a party with people his own age, hooks up with a pretty thing, and finds out afterward that she was 16. And is horrified. There is a difference morally, even if not legally.
The pervs who seek out young teens pretty exclusively are like Epstein, the slave driver, and no one thinks he isn’t a sick pedo. Even if the term is technically wrong.

The gist of Nickerson’s Salon article was, he was saying to the reader, don’t judge him. I wasn’t defending him, just conveying the gist of what he was saying. Sorry if that didn’t come across clearly.
But the side effect of all of this dust up might be, the gays may realize it’s in their own best interest to dial it back a bit, and stop forcing their lifestyle on everyone.
If, as some are saying, Milo has brought his troubles upon himself, couldn’t that be true of gays in general?
In Missouri, a person can get married at age 15 with the consent of one guardian. So an adult, of any age, can lawfully marry and have sex with a 15 year old.
