Possession of a replica, non-functional gun has the same sentence as possession of a fully functional real gun.

Millions of law-abiding GUN OWNERS likely voted for Hillary.

This article tells where gun ownership would stand in the US, likely withing one year after her taking power - via EXECUTIVE ORDER.

Sure, Congress would TRY to resist, but the courts, then solid-Democrat would simply PUNT THE ISSUE, as they tried to do with Executive Amnesty, when the liberals on the Supreme Court said the issue was between Congress and the Executive Branch.

In other words, if Congress didn’t like Hillary ordering the immediate seizing of all guns, all they had to do was pass a law stating that her EO was illegal. And to do that, they would, of course, need a VETO-PROOF margin (2/3 of the vote, meaning many, many Democrats). So, the bottom line would be that Hillary would RULE BY FIAT, and the Republicans would be powerless to stop her.

But I know, Trump is so crude, losing the Second Amendment would be a small price to pay to keep Trump out of power - right NEVERTRUMPERS?

“But I know, Trump is so crude...”

I hear you. As one anti-Trump family member sniffed... “he’s a vulgarian!”.

As opposed, I guess, to that Saint-in-a-potholder Hillary.

Is the magazine Guns & Ammo illegal there too.

Pathetic. Strip the guns off the details of those protecting the politicians. They should be afforded the same level of security as the peons.

I went to Oz last year, will never go back I’m afraid to say, its such a nice place but laws like this screwed it up permanently.

And the criminals who have working guns - why do the politicians deliberately leave guns in their hands?

It seems they have pretty serious enforcement of the gun laws in Australia.

The politicians likely can not remove them all.

Maybe you are referring to specific cases?

If so, please elaborate.

Of course, many politicians are corrupt.

Interesting that despite these draconian gun laws Australia still has gun crimes and terrorists also have no problem obtaining guns. It is only law abiding Aussie citizens who are disarmed.

FYI, “airsoft gun” and air pistol are two entirely different things. If you get shot in the head with an airsoft gun you go “OW”, if you get shot in the head with an air pistol you probably have 5-10 grains of lead at the very least under your skin and possibly in your skull.

I understand the difference.

Can you tell, from the picture, if the “air pistols” are air-soft or more conventional air pistols that use .177 or larger pellets or BBs?

No, because it’s to hard to zoom decently. In hand or a few feet away probably in a heartbeat. It’s just a peeve of mine, you mention airgun/air rifle. To anyone and they assume airsoft. Not commenting at you there, just generalizing. Ironically, airsoft gear like holsters, web gear and magazine pouches are pretty damn good for real bangsticks too!
