A very close friend of my daughter was born with a hereditary liver disease. She was lucky enough to have a transplanted partial liver from a living donor in December, but has had many problems. She is now awaiting a new liver for transplant. She'll be 29 in a couple weeks. I am beside myself with worry. I am finding grains of hope in hearing about deaths of others, which is probably sick and twisted thinking on my part. I am asking for prayers for her to be saved by someone's generosity in donating a liver that can be used, and prayers for the skill of surgeons and medical personnel to help her recover and have a new chance at life.
I posted a link to the public facebook page. She has a small son.
Thank you for your prayers.
“I am finding grains of hope in hearing about deaths of others, which is probably sick and twisted thinking on my part. “
This is what I hate about the dead people’s organ trade racket, which is called “tissue donation”.
I’m pretty sure part of a liver from a Living Person can be used in the transplant.

....and adding my prayers that this young woman gets the help she needs with a new liver, and that some family who is devastated by the loss of a loved one will feel comfort in knowing that their loved one is helping someone in dire need.
Prayers for the lady’s health.
I will remember her in Prayers.Fatima
It is an unsolvable dilemma to me, praying for an organ donation because of course it’s like you are praying for someone else’s death.
Gods will be done.
May I ask her name? She will be in my nightly prayers, and I’d like to make my prayer for her more personnel. Thanks.
Thank you. Her name is Alyssa.
Prayers for Alyssa, her family and all who love her are on the way.
Be strong and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is the LORD,
your God, who marches with you;
He will never fail you or forsake you.

Correct:
What is a liver transplant?
A liver transplant is surgery to replace a diseased liver with a healthy liver from another person. A whole liver may be transplanted, or just part of one.
In most cases the healthy liver will come from an organ donor who has just died.
Sometimes a healthy living person will donate part of their liver. A living donor may be a family member. Or it may be someone who is not related to you but whose blood type is a good match.
People who donate part of their liver can have healthy lives with the liver that is left.
The liver is the only organ in the body that can replace lost or injured tissue (regenerate). The donors liver will soon grow back to normal size after surgery. The part that you receive as a new liver will also grow to normal size in a few weeks.
May Alyssa be blessed with an additional transplant and compassionate healing, in Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
