What do you think of the sax solo?
It struck me as exceptionally good playing but I’m not a horn guy and don’t totally trust my ear.
The player is Frank Valdez.
Slowest version of ‘Cherokee’ I’ve ever heard. That’s decent playing. I wouldn’t say exceptional. I was mostly a tenor player, but it is fun to wail on an alto once in a while.
