Tucker Carlson criticized Drexel professor George Ciccariello-Maher Wednesday night on Fox, saying he "writes like a child" and is incapable of forming "a clear sentence."
Ciccariello-Maher, who said last year he wants "white genocide" "for Christmas" and the "massacre" of whites during the Haitian revolution "was a good thing indeed," told Tucker he opposes Charles Murray being allowed to speak at American universities because he's "racist" and the SPLC labeled him a "white nationalist."
Tucker countered by questioning Ciccariello-Maher's own credentials, saying he spent time reading many of his writings and found them incoherent.

Tucker quoted from an article Ciccariello-Maher's wrote in 2007 titled, "Dual Power in the Venezuelan Revolution":
"By viewing the process through the Leninist concept of 'dual power'that is, the construction of an autonomous, alternative power capable of challenging the existing state structurewe can see that the establishment of communal councils in Venezuela is clearly a positive step toward the development of fuller and deeper democracy, which is encouraging in and of itself. ""Now, that's a sentence with too many adjectives, passive construction, imprecise language, it's high school writing -- it's crap," Tucker said.
Liberal academics abhor coherent sentences.
Well then we get into the semantic argument of what is Hispanic/Latino, and what comprises that. It’s true that Hispanic is not a race. But there’s not enough room on the y-axis to state Native American peoples in north and south America and Caribbean nations who are descendants from and related to other Native American peoples who migrated across the Alaskan land bridge from Asia thousands of years ago.
What a crock!
One problem with Murray’s graph is that Hispanics are a “polyglot” of races. Another is that all the racial groupings are somewhat arbitrary as to who actually fits in each classification. Finally, you can’t use such a generalized graph to imply the IQ of any specific individual.
That’s brilliant. Thanks for the laugh.
You’re a performance artist!”

Excellent! I have to admit that I have never been a big fan of Carlson, and I stopped watching Fox several years ago, but sometimes I have been finding myself going in to watch parts of Tucker’s show when the husband is watching it on DVR in the next room. He certainly knows how to deliver some zingers.
I find the quoted sentence intelligible and well-written. The contents are pure leftist claptrap and utterly devoid of reality, but the syntax and structure themselves are fine.
Put it this way: I’ve read a lot worse academic boilerplate. Try struggling through Jurgen Habermas or Michel Foucault. It makes you want to gouge your brain out.
Thank you.
it’s “nor”. :-P
Watched this live, the “professor” I knew he was in trouble when he started spewing the same idiot talking points against and again...
He was quite a arrogant POS...
I wish Tucker would put a thought bubble that says “silly talking point” over their heads on the screen when these people begin their rants...
That would be awesome...
I understand how some people a hundred years ago might embrace communism. It was a rough world and this seemed to be a way out. After about the mid-1920's and certainly the mid-1930's, after it was clear what communism was about, I think anyone who has embraced communism has some serious issues. No better than a Nazi. After what we have seen since then, with mass slaughter in China and Cambodia and the gigantic loony bin of North Korea, anyone who embraces communism should be considered a pariah.
This guy claims to have a degree from the University of Cambridge - I’m calling bs on this one. We need somebody to investigate his bona fides. Anyone who claims that Google is a major source for research is an absolute fake.
+1
Exactly right. He just doesn't dare to say, "We want to take over and kill everybody we don't like."
Valid points, but our government has bought into the idea that blacks and Hispanics (however defined - and it does change!), and even women, are genetically inferior to white/Asian men and not only must be held to lower standards, but must also be hired just to give them the appearance of productivity and assimilation.
Would you really want to understand a single thing this guy says?
I saw him for about 30 seconds last night....horrible, insufferable, arrogant, holier-than-thou, leftist of the worst sort, having a very bad hair day.
He bitch-slapped that professor. Made him look like a pontificating boob.
No, the professor made himself look lie a pontificating boob, which is precisely what he is.
I think it's meant to imply urban dwelling Central and South American people currently living and working in the United States. Somebody said "lets say Hispanic because everyone will know what we mean anyway"
That is why it is a normal distribution with mean median mode at the center.
One problem with Murrays graph is that Hispanics are a polyglot of races.
So is "white." Poles have a different (higher) IQ spread than some other European (nations, tribes, whichever you prefer) distributions of IQ. Murray's (and others) research highlight and reveal trend data that is reliable statistically (produces similar results under consistent conditions).
