While most Americans say that both traditional and online media are reporting “fake news,” they’re more than twice as likely to attribute the falsehoods to deliberate deception rather than to incompetence, a new poll by Monmouth University reveals.
Nearly two-thirds (63%) of Americans say they’re either “regularly” (27%) or “occasionally” being fed fake news by traditional major TV and newspaper outlets.
Asked to cite the reason that these media report fake news, 39% say they do it “On purpose in order to push an agenda,” while only 17% say it is “By accident or because of poor fact checking.” Another 32% denied that traditional TV and newspaper media report fake news. …

I am astonished that the number isn’t significantly higher than that.
It is higher, this is a fake poll.
It’s still almost miraculous that a liberal university poll got as high as it did regarding the question of mainstream media pushing fake news.
News polls are a subset of Fake News.
Even the leftists at Gallop’s poll show D’rats trust has fallen almost 20 points since 2005.
Should have added: lies, slant, bias, disingenuous, vitriolic, character assassination, ...the list goes on and on. I wouldn’t trust them to read the tide tables.
The other 37% have misshapen heads and watch the view regularly.

So there is some intelligence left in Americans.
First of all, it is higher, and second, the fact that it's even at the level they are willing to admit is devastating to their credibility.
The Democrats are absolutely destroying themselves, and, hopefully, with new evidence of their criminality emerging, they will soon get some help from those elements of the GOP who still possess balls...
It’s Monmouth. Monmouth as with most pollsters are liberal who shade polls to their beliefs. So it’s higher.
I don't think it's the Democrats
so much as the elite; there's no way that the Hillary/Clinton Foundation investigations would result in so much nothing if it were merely just the Democrats -- the GOP is involved as well, just look at how both the Republicans and Democrats came together against Pr. Trump in his race for the presidency. (And even now, though to a lesser degree given they must maintain some of the two-party illusion.)
The Iran Deal is a good indicator of this -- it passed the Senate w/ a yea vote of 98 -- you just can't say that the Republicans aren't part of the mess there because they most certainly are on record voting for it.
Things like the CIA and NSA's domestic spying, too, couldn't happen w/o both sides
approving and enabling it.

So this poll means even more people hate the fake media than it admits. Good!

This number would be 100% if the poll was honest and/or people were intelligent.
NBC Nightly ran a report claiming wind power was now competitive with natural gas or coal.
Wind is $40 kWh.
