President Obama’s longtime Chicagoland gal pal Valerie Jarrett threw a temper tantrum when the angry little people of flyover country demanded she give up a $30,000 speaking fee from a cash-strapped government-run institution of higher learning.* (Okay, I made up the temper tantrum but for all we know it could have happened.)

According to Politico, the scheming Iranian-born fixer from the land of Al Capone and Saul Alinsky, “has ended up in the middle of a politicized budget storm in Illinois — unwittingly, she says — following news that she was scheduled to take a $30,000 speaking fee from a cash-strapped university.

To be completely honest, if I were Trump it would be so tempting to get a FISA warrant to have my friends in the Deep State do some surveillance on this shadowy woman.

My guess is you'd be a hundred times more likely to get something truly incriminating on her than you would on Carter Page or Paul Manafort or General Flynn.

I think the article was saying that Valerie has decided to give the commencement speech for free, instead of charging over $30K Dollars. Fine Valerie. You could have spared yourself the embarrassment by not being so damn greedy.

I’m not sure if even The Clintons would have charged a public university that much, just to grace their stage and shout into the microphone. If they were speaking at the UN, then yes, they would have gone even higher for a fee. Everybody knows that the UN has deeper pockets than schools.
