Famous TV personality Steve Harvey explained to TMZ on Wednesday that President Donald Trump is doing what he said he would do after their meeting in Trump Tower back in January.
"As far as doing what he promised me he'd do, he's doing it," Harvey said in Beverly Hills. "I'm working with HUD (Housing and Urban Development). I'm getting housing for underprivileged people. We're going to set up centers around the country. It's going really well, and God willing it will work out."
Harvey said he wasn't happy with everything President Trump was doing, but did admit that "He's keeping his word to what he said he would do."

The pair met in January to discuss inner cities and certain ways to help create jobs and positive change. "We're going to team up and see if we can bring some positive change in the inner cities," Harvey said at the time. "I think we're off to a good start."

He just torpedoed his own career. The Twitter-verse will explode with all the usual invectives and personal attacks I’m sure.
I've no quarrel with helping the underprivileged with one caveat: Their underprivileged status has to not be due to their own behavior. If they are putting in an honest effort to improve their lives, without success (not everyone is smart, talented or lucky), a hand up is warranted.
Steve Harvey has impress me.. he not a fan of our side in any way ...but he been willing to be open minded and meet half way ..
I agree. The ability to reach across the aisle on things we can agree on has become a lost art. If he can work with President Trump on some things while disagreeing with him on others, more power to him.
I really like Mr. Harvey and hope he is wise enough to stay in the middle and do all the good he can.
He worked his butt off to achieve his station and that in itself is a tool that can be used for good.
