I never understood the blog-pimping issue. I guess I am too old. Content is content.
Do we care if it comes from MSM or from a non-professional? Isn’t it the purpose of a forum to decide who has the better access or best insight?
Who gives a rip if someone makes a nickel? Content is content.
It all started with a few rather unhinged and hysterical bloggers who only posted links to their blog on FR in order to drive hits to their site. Some were so entitled that they threatened to sue when called out for it. And so it began: “What seems to have compelled you to excerpt your own blog?” It degenerated from there.
