I'm not anti-christian, but I do have an ax to grind. I don't like it when the religeous want to use their texts to inform public policy. Those books are shot through with some bad ideas. If you claims divine origin for those books and try use one of the ideas in them to justify a public policy, then you eventually have to defend why all lthe ideas aren't useful to our government today.
