Prayers of protection, peace, and healing on the way for this young man.
Prayers for him to have a successful surgery. That is such a dangerous situation for that little boy and I hope they get him all fixed up without any complications.
Prayers....
God protect Reece from all danger and harm.. May. he come through this painful ordeal in good health and good spirits. Prayers for his parents and medical team as well.
Hang in there, Reece. What a brave boy you are.
But it is in God's hands.
I got sick because I never took any days off, but then the head sister ordered me to take off...and when I objected, she pointed out God knew I wasn't there, so if someone was sick, and had to be transferred our, it was His fault...
you know in those 3 years, we would have emergencies arrive 5 minutes before I left, or 5 minutes after I came back...
Joining with you all in prayer.

Up at 4 a.m. offering prayers for Reece. And hoping for a good report soon.
Lord Jesus,
We pray for the safety of Thy servants, the sick boy, and the pilots and the medical staff.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Thank you. I am awaiting news but there has been nothing for almost 9.5 hours. You can draw your own conclusions about that.
Thanks for praying for our friends son. This morning the ultrasound showed a perforated appendix. Unfortunately surgery could not be done till 3 this afternoon. The surgeon said it went well. Please continue to pray against infection.
So, that is very good news. Yay! Thank you all for praying.
And another update:
Thanks all around the world who are praying: “Reece is out of surgery and back in his own room. Doc said his appendix was very large for his age and had multiple perforations. Reece is now resting. Thanks for continuing to pray that there will be no secondary infection. As of right now they are saying we’ll likely be here 3 days for monitoring and IV antibiotics.”
This has been a nightmare that all the parents here face. We know that we are bringing our children into a place with limited health care. My husband and I discussed and prayed about this matter and all three of our children expressed, although we never did count them as being mature enough to make this important decision, their view that the blessings outweighed the dangers.
We came over here to Papua in 1995. Our kids grew up here and graduated from the school where my hubby and I teach and all three are walking with the Lord. It is wonderful to be part of the Bible translation team here and advance the Gospel in this land.
I am quite relieved this week’s story is currently doing well. Thank you all for taking this matter to the Throne of Grace where we find help in time of need.
Please continue to keep us posted.
Great blessings to you and your family, Jemian. Few of us would be so brave as to live and work in Papua.
And thanks for the good report on Reece. Continuing prayers for his full and easy recovery.
Update #1 earlier to day....#2 will follow.
