This just in (and copied): Update on the child from a colleague: They are out! The heli got in and was able to land. Keep praying, they couldn’t land in any close by villages, the weather is bad everywhere. So they have to go all the way up to the closest town (Wamena, 1 hr 20 min away) THEN the plane will come get them from there to take them to the town where Reece can see the doctor to see if he needs surgery. Days like today really remind me how remote our lives are here out in the jungle, and that we trust alone in the One who controls all things. We are so grateful for the amazing pilots who serve us and go out of their way to help us. Thanks for all the prayers. I will continue to keep you posted as I hear more.
The saga is moving, but not over yet.
