He should bypass courts on travel ban, yes.
What can they do against him? Nothing.
The inferior court ordained and established by congress has spoken and have assumed the role of the supreme Court. Therefore effective immediately, ALL Immigration is hereby Halted. No Person other than US Citizens and Legal Residents shall be allowed in to this country until this mess is sorted out. If anyone has any questions please direct them to the 9th circuit as to why they are closing the ALL Borders Permanently.
Exactly. Immigration policy should serve the interests of citizens. First, foremost, always.
How many people should be admitted in a given year? From what countries? You'll notice the government will never consult the public on those questions, and in fact it is very difficult even to find out what they are doing. They divide the influx into so many categories that it all becomes a blur. No one knows how many people are admitted legally, and no one knows really how many more enter illegally or quasi-legally.
But the simplest rule of thumb should be this: The people admitted as immigrants should be people who demonstrably admire us and want to be one of us. And, have something to offer the rest of us.
And they should only be admitted in numbers that can be integrated within a decade. And never unless we are at full employment levels.
To put it bluntly: borders are discriminatory. That's their function. Not to be a way station where people entering become "documented".
Otherwise Invasion becomes a civil right.
What these "judges" are asserting is incredibly dangerous and flat out sedition. They have no right to assert this countrol and they know it, they have never dared to go this direction before. It is clearly the first right of the People and their Legislature to decide who will live among us.
The judges have delegitimized their whole branch with this.
Congress has the power to eliminate and create lower courts. In the case of Judge William Matthew Merrick they eliminated his DC court to get rid of him and the other judges. Congress then remade the court with a different name. Merrick , of course , was a RAT.
The Repugnic-nts in his cabinet will never tell him this is a possibility.
But the point is, he HASN’T asserted his constitutional right as the president. He should have first explained to the American people why the judiciary had no say in this matter, then instructed the agencies overseeing immigration to ignore the “judicial ruling” and implement the travel ban. By not acting immediately to quash this nonsense, he is legitimizing their usurping of power and appears to be cowering in the face of their challenge.
What happened to all his bravado on the campaign trail about “draining the swamp?” I supported him and voted for him but I’m getting the sickening feeling that we may have brought upon ourselves the second coming of GWB...another guy who doesn’t have the grit to fight and defend himself.
.
He is correct.
Trump is weakening the separation of powers by allowing the courts to interfere in strictly Executive business.

...judicial oligarchy ping....
This is such a legal slam dunk for President Trump that this time, he needs the SCOTUS to slap down these federal judges hard, with a rebuke that they need to read the constitution, because they have become too big for their britches.
This accomplishes two things.
1) It gives President Trump authority to ignore these leftist judges in the future.
2) It makes it clear that enormous reform is needed in the judiciary, by the senate and house judiciary committees.
As such, it is too good an opportunity for President Trump to miss.
Black-robes have no power to write law or nullify law. Congress needs to stop black-robed fascists from exceeding their authority. And if Congress won’t restrain these fascists, then it will fall to the people to restrain them by whatever means necessary.
Why aren't any GOP Congressmen angry about this?
The GOP Congress so far, under this President, has been the biggest bunch of cowards I've ever seen.
Indeed, they're worse than cowards‐they might actually be willing to lose their majority in the House, just to damage their own President and allow the Swamp to survive.
The Congressional GOP is possibly more loathsome than even the Democrats in Congress, because at least the Democrats are clear about their hatred and desire to obstruct.
The GOP, on the other hand, act like a bunch of two-faced weasels. I've never seen a President who has been treated so poorly by his own party. The GOP truly deserves whatever happens to it. If the GOPe—due to its own treachery and incompetence—lose the House in 2018, I think the President should seriously consider abandoning the party altogether and forming a new one.
At this point—due to their enthusiastic membership and participation in the Uniparty Swamp—I'm not sure if this President can, or even should, save the GOP...
