My local walley world has plenty of .22 on the shelf, even the local pawn/gun establishment has boxes of .22 on the shelf and prices are starting to ease down.
Years ago I had nearly 10K rounds of .22 until my oldest son and his two cousins got into it with their .22’s. One day my son comes in and says I need some .22 ammo where is it? I said on the usual shelf. No it’s gone, where is the other. What! I fortunately had squirreled away a couple of boxes in another spot. Now it is scattered throughout the house to keep the target shooting fests among the boys down.
