Ramadan Abdullah Arrested for Hording Massive Weapons Cache in New York State

A 64-year-old man by the name of Ramadan Abdullah has been arrested in Broome County, New York, after police found a massive weapons cache in a storage unit under his ownership.

Police in Broome County said that Ramadan Abdullah had been arrested on May 31st when he was caught shoplifting ammo from a local sporting goods store. Afterwards, police obtained a search warrant of Abdullah’s storage unit and recovered a large amount of ammunition, including .50 caliber armor piercing incendiary rounds, high-powered rifles and various handguns.

Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell, New York State Police, SIU and Johnson City Police Chief Brent Dodge on Wednesday announced details of a major weapons bust in Broome County, resulting in the arrest of one man and the seizure of numerous weapons.

"They did a great job of asking him very specific questions about the ammunition he had stolen and what weapons that may go to. He gave them some answers that were inconsistent with their in-depth knowledge of weapons which set off further red flags for them," said Johnson City Police Chief Brent Dodge.

In a news conference, authorities said Ramadan Abdullah, 64, has been charged the following:

- Four counts, criminal possession of a weapon, second degree, class C felony - Criminal possession of a weapon, third degree, class D felony - Criminal possession of stolen property, fifth degree, class A misdemeanor

Officials said that Abdullah was arrested by Johnson City police on May 31 for shoplifting ammunition from Gander Mountain. According to the Broome County District Attorney's Office, when a search warrant was executed on Abdullah's storage unit in the town of Union, the following items were recovered:

- Four loaded handguns - Eight assault weapons - 64 high-capacity ammunition feeding devices - One loaded shotgun - Two rifles

- Thousands of rounds of ammunition for rifles, pistols and assault weapons, including .50 caliber armor piercing incendiary rounds, numerous firearm parts and flak jackets.

Abdullah’s weapons cache wasn’t isolated to a single storage unit, however, as police executed subsequent search warrants on other properties owned by the suspect, which resulted in additional seizures.
According to the DA's office, search warrants were also executed at additional properties tied to Abdullah, resulting in the seizure of:

- Numerous rounds of .38 caliber ammunition - High-capacity ammunition feeding devices and ammunition - An additional loaded firearm

The New York State Police released the following specific information regarding the firearms.

Pistols:

- H&K USP Compact Pistol, .357 SIG caliber, semi-auto pistol, with laser (loaded) - Browning Arms, 9mm caliber, semi-auto pistol w/laser (loaded) - Browning Arms Company , .22 caliber semi-auto pistol (loaded) - Glock Model 30, 45ACP caliber, semi-auto pistol w/laser (loaded) - COP Inc, Four barrel pistol, 38 Special / 357 Magnum caliber (loaded)

Assault Weapons:

- US Charter Arms AR-7 Explorer, .22 caliber, semi-auto rifle w/ Sightmark Holographic sight - Steyr-Daimler-Puch A6 AUG, .223 caliber, semi-auto rifle w/sling and scope - Kassnar Imports AK47, 7.62x39 caliber, semi-auto rifle w/folding stock - Springfield Armory M1A, 7.62 caliber, desert camo colored, semi-auto rifle w/scope - Armalite AR-180, 5.56 caliber, semi-auto rifle, w/sling - Armalite AR-180, 5.56 caliber, semi-auto rifle, with folding stock, Armalite scope, and sling - H&K SR9TC, 7.62x51 caliber, desert camo colored semi-auto rifle w/ Springfield Armory Scope - Bushmaster Model XM15-E2S, 223/5.56 caliber, Semi-auto rifle, w/ leather sling

Political correctness aside, simply considering the name of suspect, Ramadan Abdullah, and the fact police confirmed he left the country (prior to being arrested), in addition to the amount of caches/weapons he had stored, there should be an obvious concern for the suspect being part of a larger terror cell operating in the United States.
State Police would not reveal if they believe Abdullah was connected to any terror groups.

"That is still under investigation. We do believe he has left the country. We have information to indicate that. As far as his affiliation with other groups, that is being investigated, we do have cooperation with federal authorities on that," said NYSP Major James Barnes.

According to officials, Abdullah was sent to the Broome County Jail to wait for arraignment.

Although Abdullah is now behind bars, several questions remain. The sheer amount of weapons and ammo he was storing is enough to arm multiple people, so what was his ultimate plan for these arms? Is he operating independently, or part of a wider terrorist cell that is stockpiling firearms for a future attack? How many more of these individuals have storage containers full of powerful weapons around the country?

As pictured below, it wasn't just a few hunting rifles and handguns that the suspect was storing. Instead, it appears to be a serious arsenal of firearms to be used in a variety of different situations, including the possibility of disabling vehicles with the .50 cal armor-piercing incendiary rounds.

Considering that political correctness has been injected to nearly every aspect of law enforcement and journalism, we may never hear another word regarding this story, let alone uncover the answers to these important questions.

I can’t imagine Ramadan Abdullah simply being a 2nd Amendment activist, part of a patriotism-inspired militia or an avid hunter. Although political correctness would dictate that we must not jump to conclusions based on name, race or religion it’s common to sense to connect similarities between past terror incidents and possible future attacks.

We need a General John "Black Jack" Pershing type of execution for these Mooselimbs

The time has come when we the "USA" needs to start executing some of these Mooselimbs for their crimes in our country period and use the Gen. "Black Jack" Pershing's methodology.

Soak the bullets in pigs Blood, put blindfolds on their eyes, and then shoot them!

“I wince when they mention “Thousands of rounds of ammunition”, like that alone is charge-worthy. I have that just for .22LR!!”

A phrase brought to you by the same people who like to say “common sense gun control”.

Your article on Ramadan Abdulla brings up some interesting information, especially as the weapons cache was found in Broome County. Abdullah has been active in Hancock, NY in the Muslims of the Americas (MOA) and (Jamaat al Fuqra) camp there at Islamberg where he received extensive training in guerilla warfare. This is the headquarters for about 22 to 32 camps around the USA and is in Delaware County just to the east of Broome County. MOA and Jamaat al Fuqra have possibly been connected to Daniel Pearl's beheading, the Beltway Shooters, the first attack on the World Trade Center, and several other things. Daniel Pearl was on his way to interview MOA’s founder, Sheikh Gilani, in Pakistan when he was kidnapped. Martin Mawyer and Ryan Mauro have some Internet videos which will shed quite a bit of light on MOA and Jamaat al Fuqra. Unfortunately the FBI has stifled investigations into these groups since the 1990’s. This has continued to the present. One brave undercover person risked his life for eight years gathering information until Obama’s people pulled him out of the operation. Mr. Mawyer wrote a book, “Twilight in America”, which has an abundance of information on these camps as well as about two pages on Ramadan Abdullah (if this is the same Ramadan Abdullah). He was in prison for the murder of Deputy Erik Telen, the theft of a large number of guns, ammo, etc. at the time Mawyer’s book was published in 2012. There is much more that could be written on this, but I will stop here.

There was a thread awhile ago and the headline said “cache”. I was thinking of the few rifles, some handguns and thousands of rounds of ammo. But it was pretty impressive - over two hundred weapons and hundreds of thousands of rounds. But - IIRC the guy wasn’t a threat - it was some other white-collar crime that he was caught for.

I wonder if the term “cache” could imply the nefarious purpose of the weapons.

I helped my daughter get her gun dropped off with campus security and a big bin of ammo. I had to have the cop help me carry it. I told him “I hope that all of this ammo doesn’t put her on some sort of list.”

“Heck - no, this is a couple of visits to the range here!”

“I’m very sensitive about being laughed at.”

And brother you should be! Freepers can be brutal! But always brutally honest.

At this point, if you own a firearm I’m impressed.

I live in a Metropolitan area, and man, they hate guns and most don’t own any, thugs aside....

I just smile and tell them, hope your neighbor can defend you, if need be.

Fools.

“I think people would be shocked and amazed at what they’d find if a search was conducted on the many storage units across the land that are rented to people with middle-easterner sounding names.”

You think they haven’t scanned EVERY storage facility with WIFI readers? They can see the shape of a firearm like a lighthouse against the horizon.

They are on your VOIP, Internet, cell phone and scanning your physical mail. Like you’re Trump.

If your wife sends you a naked pic, they have it before you do. Know this.

Truth.

Not if he was planning guerrilla warfare. Guerrillas accumulate whatever weapons they can scrounge.

I'm a collector. I collect pinned and recessed Smith and Wesson revolvers, for example. I don't think that's what we're talking about here.
