There is no reason to give a hepatitis vaccine to an infant.
Are they really at risk from dirty needles or unsafe sex?
The reason why infants are bombarded with vaccines is a public health issue,not an issue involving a single patient.They want to vaccinate early so they don’t get lost in the system and not get the vaccine. I know a lot of pediatric nurses who don’t buy into this, and space the vaccines out.
