Or, are they going to say, he hid under water, breathed through a straw floating downstream until rescued by a kindly indian girl and nursed back to health by whom he has had several kids and is raising them in a better fashion than his dad did, although his dadd was played by that super-hunk Gerald McRaney?

Gerald McRaney ... the actor who played George Hearst (William Randolph's gold and silver mogul papa) as a simmering psychopath in Deadwood. Very good guy in real life and brilliant at playing bad guys for show.
