The summer holidays are just around the corner, and there’s nothing quite like the buzz of knowing that there are at least six weeks ahead of homework-free fun. However, with so much time on your hands, it can be all too tempting to lounge on the sofa, rather than doing something a little more energetic. Consider stepping away from TV for a few days and see all the amazing things around town to inspire you to get out n’ about!

I tried a UK music camp one summer many years ago in my youth. It was called (IIRC) “Tommy’s Holiday Camp”. The chief counselor was some creepy guy named Ernie. We were supposed to walk around blindfolded and stuff. Too bizarre for me, I decided that I wasn’t going to take it and left.
