Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud

Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century.

From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.

Your so called “evidence” is fine if you are right. But what if you’re wrong? My feelings tell me to be scared and that we should do everything we are told to do to fight global warming and/or climate change. It’s all about feelings, not evidence.

As a side note to this climate-change thread, please consider the following.

If I can remember to do this for the eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017 …

I don’t recall ever having to plan for wearing a jacket during a summer solar eclipse.

And noting that inclement weather can destroy this experiment, here’s what I’m going to do differently for this eclipse.

Presuming that computerized temperature predictions do not take solar eclipses into consideration, I’m first going to take notice of maximum temperature predictions for Aug. 21.

Then I’m going to check for a “curious” difference between predicted and a possibly lower-then-predicted maximum temperature during eclipse, possibly a result of the sun being blocked if such is the case.

Let’s see what happens.

Back in the 1970s and earlier, we always heard about continental land masses sinking. Mountains surge up adding weight and then the land mass beneath begins to consolidate under the weight and the land mass sinks. But now it is inconvenient for the commie liberals to discuss sinking land masses. Instead, they pretend all changes in sea level vs land is due to rising oceans not sinking land.
