Colin Kaepernick and Nessa arrive on the red carpet at the TIME 100 Gala at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, on April 26 in New York City.
"To a certain extent, with what is going on in Baltimore right now with the police officers, and the body camera scandal that is going on in Baltimore ... in light of what happened with Freddie Gray in 2015," Scott told UPI Wednesday.
"I think that the Baltimore fan base would think that he was standing up for him [Gray]," Scott said. "Because it was the exact cause that he was speaking of: The unfair treatment of minorities from the police and law officers. So I think if any place is the right place, I think it is Baltimore."
The 36-year-old is now retired from football, following an 11-year NFL tenure. He went to the Pro Bowl and played alongside Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Deion Sanders and other NFL legends.
"I think that the fact that John [Harbaugh] knows extensive information about Kaepernick and who he is as a person, because of the relationship with his brother [Jim Harbaugh]," Scott said. "The fact that the Baltimore Ravens played against them in the Super Bowl and he lit the defense up. I think that they know what he is capable of when he is at his height in the right situation. I think they understand."

Looks like Colin Kaepernick will end the NFL all by himself.
I hope the NFL holds out and doesn’t interfere with Kaps’ little life-lesson he’s undergoing.

(In your rear-view mirror.)
>>Lions fans might argue that.<<
Pretty sure that is Purgatory.
I meant where the devil rules — Ravens.
Perhaps Kapernick can solve the riddle of how a black majority city, ruled by a black majority city council, and policed by a back majority police force, has a vendetta against black people? He’ll have lots of time to ponder that while sitting on the bench.
So Justine Trudeau would take a knee as well
Thanks to Colin Kapernick and the NFLs failure to stomp out players anti-American actions I no longer have a 120 dollar a month cable bill.
Baltimore can definitely make a case that they deserve him.

Not all of Baltimore is a dump.
We don’t want him here.
The Ravens kept Ray Lewis on their team, Colin would fit in well with a team who supported Lewis.
With the burning, looting, and other rioting of two years ago, Baltimore is a place where Colin Kaepernick (2-14 loser) would fit right in.
Is that guy nuts?! Does he appreciate HIS job with the Ravens? He sez that Kaepernick should be brought to “Charm City” because he’d raise hell about the police, and for the supposed raw deal they gave Freddie Gray. That’s all Baltimore or the Ravens need! He must be nuts!
When Kaepernick was the starter for the Niners and he led them to the Super Bowl things were going great. He avoided talking about race then, but his game eventually unraveled and he was benched as their starting QB. Then he grew the fro, cried racism and decided to bring out his inner “black man” victimized by racist America. He’s pulling the wool over black people, but then again everything to them is about race. Kap knows that and is getting maximum attention. Do you seriously think if he was still a top notch QB any of this crap would be happening? It’s all because he got demoted as the starting QB in SF and couldn’t accept it.
He needs to be banished to Canada.
Baltimore is not a dump, many parts are wonderful places to live.
Can these people really be that stupid?
Depends on what streets you walk down.
Sorry, the vast portion of it that I have seen is a first-class dump.
