I have spent a pretty penny or two for my cat over the years. She is seventeen and still trundling along but her mouth is troubling her too. I pray for a little financial miracle for you. Times are tough these days all over, but friendship is priceless.
I hope your kitties make a full recovery, and that you can manage until your insurances kick in. I know how precarious it must feel, as I’m retired myself and also have 2 beloved kitties.
I love kitties but I save my prayers for people. God can take care of them.
My little cat lived to be 24. She was my best friend. She’s been gone for about 8 yrs now but I still miss her dearly.
I have prayed for my dogs on a number of occasions. I can pray for you cats. I hope everything turns out okay.
I hope your kitties get well soon.
Praying for you. You’re not in a position to spend $1,200 on them but are too emotionally involved to realize. Lose the kitties, prioritize. Sheesh!
I feel ur pain. Just spent $4k on my cat. I love that cat and so do the kids but Geez!
Of the four cats I have now, one of them has cost me over $2 thousand in medical expenses since he was rescued in 2006. They are my children and they love me unconditionally. As long as I have them, hang the expense. I understand and sympathize with your kitty situation. Once they are back at home with you, hopefully everything will settle back down to normal.
Prayers send for your beloved cats...one of the Good Lord’s creations.
Hang in there CatMom and try to make Louie behave.
Prayer sent north.
Praying for your precious kitties. I have a beautiful Maine Coon cat and 3 dogs and they are my family.
Prayers for you and your cats.
We’ve been married 38 years and have had cats since day 1. The first family of cats had one live to 24 another to 22 and one to 18. Two others met their end at around 9 years. All of them were, and are, special to us.
Our oldest in our second group is now 16, and except for chronic IBS is in perfect health—never had a single bad tooth—our only cat of both families to ever be that lucky. We’ve spent a fortune over the years—probably in excess of $20,000 trying to keep them healthy and happy. We were $5,000 into chemo treatments for our beloved Freddie when we could see he wasn’t going to make it so we stopped and put him down when he got too miserable. Hardest thing we ever had to do.
Take your kitties in for regular checkups and just love ‘em like there’s no tomorrow.
Sorry about your kitties, and I hope they’re both better soon. Our Jake has problems with his teeth, too. Our vet took several out while he was sedated to be stitched up after a fight.
Father God, in the Name of Jesus I pray for Catmom’s furbabies, that you would heal them of all their ailments and restore them to youthful health. Lord Jesus, You placed animals upon this Earth not only for us to enjoy and marvel at Your Creation, but to also reflect Your Love for us—in which is a life-long unconditional love, but from You is an eternal Love.
Thank You, Jesus, and we love and magnify Your Holy Name,
Amen.
Prayers up for your kitties.
Animal lover too! Our 2 older cats are outside for their morning ramble. Last summer our 18 year old had all her teeth removed except for 4 & yes, it is a huge hit to the wallet.
Prayers for your furbabies and for you. Hang in there until your insurance kicks in. Your babies are blessed to have you.
Prayers lifting ma’am, for you and your fur babies.
And just a thought - if you discussed it with them, might your vet be willling to be paid on an installment plan of a sort?
