Ditto....Bannon will work on his own, supporting President Trump as he always has.

Good ol’ GWP. The guy is wrong so often about so many things, I can’t understand why anyone still reads him.

“I believe that. Nobody who intended to keep working for Donald Trump would have given that interview. It sounded to me as if he’d already decided to leave when I heard about it, and said so on previous threads.”

I agree. That was one strange interview by Steve.

“I very much doubt that Trump turns left without him”

Well, between you and me, that makes one of us. My concern since the beginning is that Trump would revert to his pre-campaign posture as a liberal New York Democrat in order to get things done. If we believe what he says, all he cares about is making deals. The Communist Party will definitely work with him on that.

We all know that politics is DC is corrupt and corrupting, but it also does not ask how high to jump when he barks an order. His adult life has been spent ruling a family business essentially with no accountability except to bankers whom he proudly bamboozles, so working with competing stakeholders must drive him nuts.

I'm uncomfortable with Jared and Ivanka still being in the WH, too. They're too young and too immersed in that elite NYC frame of mind to have a clue about the total picture of what's happening to the US.

It's been seven months now. They don't seem to have grown at all in that regard. Maybe what they need is a year or two in a house in suburban Detroit, getting jobs on their own and seeing what it's like to make ends meet and deal with little-folks every day concerns.

This hand wringing is so inappropriate. It only gives the media power. Bannon is an advisor. The President’s agenda was being developed over the last 30 years well before Bannon.

That’s my attitude. It was unbelievable that he said that to a reporter. He put us all in jeopardy.

“Why would you not have his back if his plans don’t get done?”

I don’t think that I said that...in any case, my point is that if Trump thinks we’ll follow him if he turns left, he’s in for a VERY RUDE awakening. It is not about him, it was never about him, it was about what he stood for - with the Wall (and what implies) being first and foremost.

To put it another way, if Trump teamed with McCain and Graham to support mass Amnesty, would you still have his back? I sure wouldn’t.

After David Stockman, anyone that close to the President, that believes there is such a thing as “off the record” and opens up to anyone in the media about things they shouldn’t be talking about, gets fired.

the Democrat Party is merely the political arm of the Media.

correct - and worth repeating imho.

There were concerns about Bannon, too. He was the one who courted Milo Yiannopoulos, and recruited him for Breitbart. Milo was never shy about crediting Bannon with making him a star. Milo was, for all practical purposes, the face of Breitbart until his sudden ouster.

If promoting a homosexual as the public face of an organization is conservative, then Bannon was conservative. If not, then he may not have been quite everything his supporters claimed.

Agreed. And, frankly, Trump can use a better strategy in dealing with all the static coming from the left. I have no issues with him looking for a new approach on this part of things.

I know what this is about, and have a good idea of how the media-mantra-machine is going to make it out to be about in the minds of the Sheeple.

This is really about McMaster and foreign policy led by globalists, McMaster, Obama holdovers, deep state plants going back to GW Bush and others.

The media are going to sell this as a “victory against the White Supremacists” at Charlottesville.

For that reason, Trump is naive.

The wolves are hungrier and more aggressive when they smell your fear.

No matter Trump’s reason, he needed to wait until Charlottesville was not the 24/7 media mantra event; BECAUSE firing Bannon does not change that, to the Dims it confirms, to them, they were right - you see, Trump caved to our demands.

I have to say on this one - dumb of Trump.

There is some truth in your observations, at least as far as I can see. I hope Bannon lands on his feet and flourishes. Maybe a break will do him good.

Who is to say that Trump/Bannon will never communicate again ? They just won’t be doing it publicly or in the oval office.

I think you are right. Bannon didn’t do well as a public figure; that doesn’t mean his ideas have lost importance in Trump’s mind.
