McMaster fired Rich Higgins after the infamous memo describing how the cabal was plotting to take down Trump. The memo was prior to Charlottesville and that incident is precisely what Higgins warned about: a conspiracy of the Dems, GOP-e, alt-left, media and Deep Stare spooks. A crisis was created out of nothing and the entire list of Trump’s enemies were all queued to attack him before the facts were barely examined. All the proof I need that McMaster is a rogue element that cannot be trusted.
