The constellation he writes about, the woman clothed in light, is one more in the sky in less than two weeks. On September 23, 2017, the constellation will return. On the internet and around the world, some Christians are getting very excited because the appearance of this constellation is listed in Revelation 12 as following the Rapture.

The reasons some of us believe that the return of Christ may be near must be quite different from the reasons others predicted in the past. I was unaware of the “Aztec prediction of 2012” and all the fuss of 2015. I never thought I would, in my lifetime, believe it just may come true in my generation. But lately I’ve seen information that stunned me into thinking it might happen in my lifetime and it might be soon.
There are finally “too many” coincidences going on for me to dismiss it without further investigation. I’ll put a few video links below for those who may be interested.

Overview of significance of Sept 23 2017 as possible Revelation 12 sign.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FV1Vyqp9i5w

If you want to know more about the first vid, the next goes much farther into the layers of interpretation of the sign in the sky. Start at 6 min mark to skip the explanation re Jewish names used and a reading of the relevant versus of Revelations. The speaker overwhelmed me with info - I only stayed in for the discussion of the Zodiac. (I never knew there was a 13th Zodiac sign called “Ophiuchus” but it’s in Wiki)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0-7EmeqM1Q

The first video features an object in the sky that some believe is symbolic of the “Red Dragon.” The first 3 minutes of this next video may be of interest to the curious.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhkMP7a0vgE

The above videos are just the tip of the iceberg. While seeking iceberg type videos, one does have to wade through the flat-earthers and other nutty people. But there’s enough raw footage of events going on around the world (in diverse arenas) sand theological discussions to make me wonder.
Two examples:

Two sunsets
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=987ksZQgnX4

Two sunrises
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Chfq7a_Xzm4

Red “object” seen from the camera of the ISS. I’ve probably seen about 50 different videos purporting this object(s) from many different corners of the earth.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0wRd_FCuDw

Note that this sign is thought to possibly represent the “12th Seal” and that the majority of people following the videos I’ve seen believe a rapture now until Sept. 21 would best meet the specifications in Revelations (all required signs are present) with some focusing most on Jewish calendar events think that the Sept. 21-23 is most likely.
It’s true that date setting is frowned upon and I think posters on this thread point out why - because few are interested in these videos (above) because off all the “false starts” and cry wolf scenarios going on.

Here’s Wiki’s take on this “sign” of Sept. 23
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revelation_12_Sign

One final note, the exact identity of the “stars” in the hair of the woman held one key difference 2000 years ago compared with teh Sept. 23, 2017 version. At Christ’s birth, the name of one of the “stars” in her crown represented “peace” and in September, it’s replaced by Saturn, the “god of war”. I don’t remember the name of the video I saw but it was highly detailed and noted that this year’s specific alignment can only happen once in the history of the universe.

You are very close on the time. Yeshua was born on tishri 15th, not tishri 1. That is the 1st day of sukkot, or booths and was circcumsized on the 8th day or Shemini Atzeret. 8 is the symbol for infinity also. This is demonstrated when the fire circled the 2 halves in a figure 8. His circumcision is a blood covanent for eternity for those who belive in him. The hebrew calendars are lunar and fall at different times on the roman calender. Sukkot are known in christainity as booths, you may understand this to be a “manger” Sukkot is also known as the “feast of nations” where all people are required to once a year come up to Jerusalem. Thats when the romans wanted to collect the most taxes during that time. You can study this time, the key starts with John the immerser and his father Zechariah who belonged to the order of Abijah. you must find out when that group of men served in the temple during the beginning of the year and the end of the year, and other passages. seek the truth and you will find it. It does mater.

It lasted a year IIRC so pining down a month would be sheer speculation.

Remember how big the empire was back in those days and even with their first class roads things moved rather slowly.

The Romans did a census of Roman citizens every five year and of the empire every 14 years

would have hated to be a Gaul born in Judea. They had to have some rules for the long distance traveller. LOL. We need a resident Freeper who is an expert on Roman census.

The big word there is "if". If The census was ordered in Dec, many might have died making the trip. There is snow many times on Dec 25 in Israel. The sheep would not have been in the fields at that late time.

This is why the study of Jewish Law, customs, and culture is so important if you are a Christian. Jesus was Jewish, lived and died as a Jew. God wrote the Bible to Jews. The things we see Jesus doing was to follow Biblical laws and traditions. The knowledge an average Christian gets of Jewish things is pitiful. In fact, one might say that antisemitism comes from this lack of understanding. It's possible to go into an average church and find half the membership has some sort of antisemitism because they don't even understand Jesus was a Jew. Jesus didn't come to start some new religion, but to fulfill the Jewish one. We have been grafted in, or adopted into, the family of God( which is Israel) The final chapters in the Bible have to do with God coming to rescue Israel from Satan. God's first covenant was with Israel. They will inherit the same covenant we have. I'm not so concerned with what Roman history seems to say but what the Bible says. Rome has had and continues to have types and shadows of Satan and his work.

Right. Thank you. Dummy old me! If Christ was actually born on this date, then this IS Christmas. Joy to the World. Apostle Paul nailed it, “Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift.

“Tradition has made December 25th the birthday of Jesus.”

No, it is the day of the Feast celebrating His birth.

2nd Corinthians 9:25 BTW, quoting Paul.

We often hear the term, “The gift that keeps on giving.” In the case of Christ our Lord, He really does keep on giving; blessings innumerable and joy unspeakable, FOREVER.

I have noticed that people tend to push a premise(Jesus born on Sept 11) and then support it with things that are completely unrelated.

The Bible doesn’t say when he was born so everything is speculation.

Amen to your post. The mutual ignorance between Christians and Jews (and vice versa) in Western nations is corrosive. American believers, whether Jewish or Christian, have no excuse for not studying and learning each others’ scriptures to fully understand our cultural heritage.

Christians may or may not believe that Christ’s teachings set aside Hebrew teachings.

Jews may or may not recognize Jesus of Nazarth as the Messiah.

But both sides would gain greater understanding of why our moral universe formed as it did and what many, many things the two testaments have in common; and how both influenced our Founding documents and traditions.

The bible has hints to when He was born. and what followed after He was born. We have more in there than we may think, but because of our conformity, we miss out.

To be fair, the bible has proof of when He died. And yet, even with that proof, the world thinks He died on something called ‘good friday’, instead of Passover according to scripture.

He died on a Friday, before the Sabbath began.

quote-He died on a Friday, before the Sabbath began.

Thanks for proving my point..

When Passover isn’t on rome’s Friday, who has the problem? Rome or the Father?

When one rejects rome and follows His Word, Passover is His 6th Day of His 2nd week; which most certainly is followed by His 7th Day Sabbath.

Passover landing on rome’s tiw’s day doesn’t change that truth.

But because times and laws have changed, people have been conformed to believe that Friday=the Father’s 6th Day.

That is not scripturally supported.
That is supported only with rome’s catechism and calendar.

One either believes good friday is His 6th Day.
Or Passover is His 6th Day.

Scripture shows Passover is His 6th Day.

The two cannot be truth.

One is counterfeit.
One is truth.

It doesn’t say satan deceives some of the world.
It’s written satan deceives the whole world.

Time is one big place deception takes place-
so subtle but it isn’t for many to see.
conformity to the world blinds us (romans 12)

The word “Friday” is never mentioned in the Bible so it is a moot point.
That’s the problem with legalism. It always runs into Scripture and Scripture doesn’t say anything about Friday or Saturday or Sunday. But the Jews were currently celebrating Sabbath on Friday/Saturday so we assume it has always been so.
