"I think that today there isnt enough music that makes people happy, says Ollie Gabriel as he breaks onto the scene with this upbeat and soulful hit full of hope and defiance.
'Running Man' is an infectious song that begins with the bright chords of keyboards which reflect the feel-good factor of the singers vocals which are rich timber and full of raw emotion. The electronic beats feel like the listener is running with this talented star. Some of you may be familiar with this tune because it has featured on ads, MTV, NBC and TNT.

Apparently, the scale and scope of this guy’s record collection and/or search for more is limited by his being so uncultured that he doesn’t even know what to look for, unless he’s only referring to what’s been on current and more recent pop music charts. Maybe he and countless others like him should stay out of the music business until they do some research diligent enough that they at least discover some of the music that has come along since “Yankee Doodle Dandy”.
An upbeat and happy tune?
How about Pharrell's "Happy"?

Too dependent upon autotune and sort of overwrought and overproduced. Seems like a nice guy with some talent, too bad. Maybe he can afford to strip it down and start again from basics, if this turns out to be a big hit in the British Isles. Certainly needs to. Needs to lose the canned “look” that the studio is imposing upon him personally, too. Like Grace Jones with an actual penis.
It starts out with samples of gunfire and has lyrics “Feet don’t fail me now”. Is this the new official song for Detroit?
ha!
