Pay for it? Or find a new place to steal it from?

Don’t know how you feel about Amazon...but the DS series is included with a subscription to Amazon Prime.

Yeah, we noticed. My wife does miss Fox News and the other news channels. Yes, I know there are other sources online.

Amazon Prime has many of the episodes — most through Season 17 and sporadic for other seasons.

Amazon also has ‘purchase’ options.

Note that Amazon Prime has a tendency to revert their Prime streaming videos to pay, without notice.

I had a similar problem with Netflix. For years they had the original X-Files. I started watching and got to about the start of Season 3, and they removed the series. Now, I think it is only available on Hulu.

Justwatch.com/us is a good website to search for tv series and movies to find out which major streaming sources might have them and what the prices are.

Yes, and with no XTV Roku has more or less lost some of its attraction. First we lost Xtv and the very same week our Samsung fried so there were two deaths in the family. Whether or not this returns is unknown. Having service you would be more aware of any updates To feed your craving you might check out Watch series

This can be done on your computer (which has been done here for the time being) Have no clue how you might see on your television. The site has a number of tee vee series episodes, and some movies. A free site. Sorry, not checked to see what might be found there. Good Luck! Who knows Xtv might be returning at some point in time.

Gert the “new” XTV-2

Go here: https://www.rokuguide.com/private-channels/xtv-2
It takes you to Roku to add channel. The “new” XTV-2 does not have as many shows now. The shows they had from cable are gone like Game of Thrones which I suspect triggered the shutdown. Once you add the new XTV-2 you can read the latest updates where they explain what shows they will be getting.
Still hundreds of episodes to view.

Same program icon as before.
Remove the old one by pressing on the Roku remote, the * asterisk button, choose Move channel the use the arrow buttons to move to your lineup of Channels.
Mine are Plex - sling - XTV - Channel Pear - Netflix - Amazon and many others

What you see when you add the channel. It showed up right away after the system update.

Channel XTV-2 has been added to your channel lineup.
Channels typically will show up within 24 hours. To access your new channel now, you can refresh your channels on your home screen by visiting Settings > System > System Update
