It’s more like 1% — old males and males under the age of 14 rarely commit violent crimes. And in the demographic I suspect you are speaking of, about 2/3 of that demographic group are being raised in healthy, normal households that teach their kids right from wrong as a matter of course. Those males are not involved in criminal activity.
No but they let it all go on and carry their own chips on their shoulders. But you're right. The stats are even scarier.
