Dear Players, Coaches and Owners:
Yesterday was the lowest, most vile moment in the long and glorious history of the National Football League.
In response to comments the President made concerning the complete lack of respect shown by some NFL players towards the American flag and the National Anthem, nearly 200 players from teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions and the Jacksonville Jaguars kneeled and locked arms with their coaches and owners during the Star Spangled Banner in solidarity and defiance of everything from police brutality to President Trump to the imaginary canard of white nationalism to America, the greatest nation on Gods green earth.
In Chicago, the entire Pittsburgh Steelers team, minus former Army Ranger and Bronze Star recipient, Alejandro Villanueva, remained in the locker room, rather than take the field and stand for the National Anthem, under orders from Coach Mike Tomlin.
Villanueva was later reprimanded for his actions by Coach Tomlin.
Are you kidding me?
During the Oakland Raiders game vs. the Washington Redskins, the Raiders sat in protest as a military honor guard carried the American flag on to the field.
Welcome to the NFL 180. Welcome to a strange, twisted world that Vince Lombardi and Walter Payton would scarcely recognize.
No doubt many of you thought your actions were cool or trendy or following in the footsteps of the airhead activist himself, Colin Kaepernick.
In actuality, your disgraceful conduct not only disrespected the American flag and your country, but through your actions, you also spit in the face of every living veteran in this nation and on the graves of every American who gave their life for the United States in wars from the American Revolution to Afghanistan.
Bad move, very, very bad move
Of course, the liberal MSM jumped on your unpatriotic bandwagon by making your actions sound like a hybrid between a Martin Luther King march and a Nobel Peace prize presentation, when, in truth, your conduct was full of immature sound and spoiled fury that signified nothing.
The NFL has had a discipline problem for a decade; both coaches and owners have turned their heads to ridiculous long hair flying from helmets, players screaming at reporters, players doing whatever they want on and off the field and players committing crimes, conduct that has become part and parcel of the National Football League.
Only an organization coming apart at the seams would condone behavior which is prohibited by your own set of rules.
On pages A62-63 of the league rulebook, it states:
The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition.
I think its safe to say the days of Bradshaw, Butkus, Dorsett, Ditka, Landry, Namath, Piccolo, Sayers, Shula, Tarkenton, and yes, Plimpton himself, are long gone.
Welcome to the era of the NFL Snowflake; the era of the whining, spoiled, know nothing political activist in shoulder pads and a helmet, who is a walking, talking public relations nightmare.
Welcome to the Last Days of the NFL
Welcome to the collapse of Americas Number One Past time, courtesy of gutless owners, spineless coaches, Millennial fools in the shotgun formation and the dimwitted leftists of the MSM.
Strangely, you players, coaches and owners believe youre some kind of modern day Gandhis in cleats. What you are, is stupid and arrogant and frankly, un-patriotic.
In a nutshell youre playing Russian Roulette with the number one demographic group that makes up the NFL fan base: veterans and white middle class men, a large percentage who voted for Mr. Trump and view your antics yesterday as nothing short of obscene.
Who do you think watches NFL games, single women in yoga pants buying Kombucha at Whole Foods in Venice Beach?
Frankly, tonight, I would rather watch reruns of Little House on the Prairie than waste one minute watching Monday Night Football. I am confident the ratings tomorrow will reflect that I am not alone in my feelings toward the current state of the NFL.
I am also confident the antics will largely continue and that the coaches and owners wont have the guts to take action. But, the fans will, by boycotting a sport that has literally been blown to smithereens by political correctness, politics and liberal activism gone mad.
A word of wisdom next time you think about disrespecting our flag and country, think about the Americans who gave their lives for the freedom you have every hour of every waking day; courtesy of men and women who would give anything to be here today, watching what used to be a great sport, but which has disintegrated into an un-patriotic oblivion.
President Trump is right: Get those SOBs off the field!

Last but certainly not least dont forget to tell the NFL themselves that you are boycotting them and dont forget to mention that you are contacting advertisers and sponsors to tell them youre boycotting their products and services until they sever ties with the NFL! http://www.nfl.com/contact-us;
As I see it, the NFL owners and the media that depends on the NFL to produce ad dollars, sided with money over police and vets. The owners saw their team values falling. The players saw their contracts depressing. But the media decided to spin this as reasonable because they need football. But I figure I don’t need football. And I am guessing I am not alone. I wonder how many 50 year old white guys out there who do care about police and vets. We will soon see. Its easier for me to give up the NFL, I am in Chicago. It will be harder in Green Bay.
NFL GTH! -—Our new chant
