I was referring to Chicago dem politicians from the days of WLS ABC weatherman John Coleman as being more moderate. I'm sure there were some commie jerk offs, as you put it, in the party back then, but all of those democratic politicians from that era weren't influenced by Alinsky.

My point being both democratic and republican politicians have moved leftward since. The dems are socialist now, and the republicans are like democrats of old. Both parties have left the people, with the welfare class and illegals picking up the slack for the democrats. This shift has caused many moderate democratic voters to switch over, and has caused some republican voters to stay home when slugs such as Romney, McCain, or Jebbie Bush are foisted upon us. If we get candidates such as Reagan or Trump, who went around the republican establishment, the voters will show up on Election Day.
