We didn't have much choice. We never do.
You just do the best with what you are given and our only option was Bush at the time.
I too am not happy with the way it ended up, but I don't see that we had any better options.
Maybe he was just trying to get on the good sides of Barbara and Laura.
I don’t recall him speaking out against Obama. Maybe I’ve just forgotten it. He probably is still sore that Trump won over brother Jeb.
And Jimmy Carter speaks out, basically defending Trump? Something fishy going on...
No, GW did not speak against obama... nor did he ever stand up for our side when obama was lying about everything and blaming GW all the time. That’s what makes his speech so hard to take... he just dug a hole for himself and I don’t know why he did it.
It could be he only watches cnn or does not get any news and does not know what is going on out here... either way, he’s too uninformed to make a speech like he did last week. or he’s a liberal like his mother and thinks nothing of double crossing like his dad... plus he should be a bigger man than to let Jeb get into the fray... He took it from obama for 8 years.. what Trump said about/to Jeb shouldn’t be a problem for GW.
He just fooled us for awhile.. and took the mask off last week. It’s for sure he has more respect for obama and clinton than Trump.. that ought to tell us something!! It takes someone who is as corrupt as they are to be with them in his mind.
Trump is not corrupt.. he hasn’t lied to us.. he has kept his promises... and he’s not ONE OF THEM!...
money/power/status/swamp is more important to them than a good man .. than our country.

Not having a choice was part of the plan.
After the 1986 amnesty the GOP under GHW Bush implemented a policy of non-enforcement of laws and borders to demographically change the country.
The RNC has been under their control until now and always made sure only candidates who agreed with open borders/amnesty were nominated.
Since the President is the only one who can ensure that immigration laws are enforced they had us boxed in unable to stop the illegal alien inundation.
Thank God for Trump.
This weekend I threw out my copy of Decision Points. To HELL with GWB.
I started to have doubts about Bush when he refused to do anything regarding Sandy Berger’s theft of documents. History will not remember the Bush family kindly.
