Glocks are old technology.
No love for the 10mm. Some men just need to keep the 45 vs 9mm debate alive I guess.
I’ve had Glocks for many years...My first was a Glock 21 which I purchased in 1993 with 6 boxes of Black Talon ammo. Subsequent purchases of a Glock 17 and a Glock 30. I love all of them, and was severely depressed after the boating accident when I lost all of my firearms.
Still waiting for a full size 9mm single column model.
I have gotten old enough that I can no longer remember all the Glock model numbers.
For most people, it is probably the 19 but most of their models will do just fine.
For carrying in my car or maybe just hiking in the woods, I would love to have a full size 10mm model.
A family member said that Glocks are for those folks who can’t handle a 1911A1.
Never carry any Glock without a holster!
Why did they single out the 36 for a mag release that may be problematic without a holster?
The Glock 19 is particularly effective in home defense. The clip holds 15 rounds and the 9MM has wonderful stopping power. I recommend using the Glock to allow you to get time to get to a 12 gauge shot gun with the plug removed using an open choke as possible and #4 3 inch mags shells at which point that fight is over. Understand that the objective is to stop one or more home invaders and you are only as safe as the closest loaded fire arm. It does no good to have one in the bed stand if you are in the kitchen . I recommend at least 3 pistols ( no .22s) at points in the house that you use during the day and night. For example, bedroom, kitchen and living room. I know several professionals that do this and they will put one on top of the refrigerator ( pushed back where you can’t see it unless you are 6’6” ). Using a Glock ,I do not chamber the shell until use. It has no safety.
MARSOC recently chose the GLOCK 19 over all other pistols. Methinks they know something about war fighting.
Glocks are the ugliest hand gun ever made.
I absolutely love my G19 and G20....
